MINNEAPOLIS, -- After a matchup against perennial powerhouse Northwestern - St.Paul Eagles this past Saturday, the North Central University (NCU) volleyball team is set to clash against the Knights of Martin Luther College in a vital UMAC contest. Dating back to October 2nd of last season, the Rams fell to the Knights in a back-and-forth affair three sets to zero. This time around, NCU will set their sights on bouncing back from their previous matchup and get back into the win column.

Senior, Rachel Beckman placed 12 assists along the net and was a crucial offensive weapon for the Rams in their last matchup against the Knights. In addition to her reliable setting this season, Beckman has continued to bestow her senior-level leadership on the court in multiple capacities. Complementing Beckman in the Rams' last matchup against the Knights was sophomore, Hannah Fischer, who led the Rams' defensive presence in route to tallying seven total digs. As the Knights come into the match looking to improve on their 3-17 record, the Rams will strive to get back above the .500 win-loss threshold.
