MINNEAPOLIS. – After a win against the Storm of Crown College last match, the freshly invigorated Rams prepare to kickoff against the Bethany Lutheran College Vikings this Wednesday. After a loss against a much-improved Vikings squad earlier in the season, the Rams hope to use their momentum to continue their charge through the rest of UMAC play.
Leading the helm for the Rams is
Henry Puchuela, who is currently sitting atop two significant statistical categories in goals and assists. This season he continues to grow into his leadership role by developing the young core of Rams the men's soccer team consists of. In their previous match against Crown,
Puchuela found freshman,
Weston Buckley, early in the second half to tie the match. To secure the lead with a goal in their 2-1 win,
Bryant Kelley managed to sneak one by the defense with 25 minutes remaining in the match for his first goal of the season. The Rams will have to give their all to overcome this impressive Bethany Lutheran team who is sitting at an overall record of 10-5 (3-2 UMAC).
