    
MINNEAPOLIS, -- After a matchup against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings this last Tuesday, the North Central University (NCU) women's soccer team is set to battle against the University of Minnesota Morris Cougars in a pivotal UMAC contest. These two teams last met on the pitch on September 29, 2018 where the Rams fell five to two. The Rams have their sights on a comeback victory and ready to put another one in the win column.
Junior, Mikel Vacek played a crucial role in the Rams' last matchup against the Cougars where she managed an assist in the afternoon. Vacek has been a dominate piece for the Rams all year and continues to lead the Rams on and off the field in a variety of ways. Another talented player, Kara Lewis, put up an astounding goal in the Rams' most recent matchup and continues to show her versatile skill set. The Cougars come into this game to extend the win column and improve on their 5-8 record.
