MINNEAPOLIS, -- After a matchup against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings this last Tuesday, the North Central University (NCU) men's soccer team gears up to face the University of Minnesota Morris Cougars. This is the first time the two teams have met this season. The Rams are looking to prove themselves after a difficult game against the Vikings overwhelming offense.
The Rams, who sit at a 3/13 overall record (1/5 UMAC), look to overcome the Cougars, who are 4/14 (2/5 UMAC). The Rams are looking to capitalize on the Cougars' three-game losing skid. A key contributor for the Rams is Tian Elder, who will be in goal due to the injuries of Samuel Bang and Samuel Bang earlier this season. Despite not being the primary goalie, Elder has stopped 39 shots and is boasting a 76.6% save percentage. Both Morris and NCU hold similar records making this matchup one to watch.
