The North Central University (NCU) women's basketball squad is ready to play host to the Waldorf University (WU) Warriors on Friday night, an NAIA-affiliated school that plays in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA). After falling to a competitive Hamline University Pipers team, the Rams are in search of getting back into the win column tonight. The game should serve in what should be a true back-and-forth battle. This will be the first time that NCU and WU have seen one another since the 2016-17 season, but it will be the sixth overall time the two schools have clashed in the history of their women's basketball programs.

Kadija Conteh was fundamental to the Rams' offensive attack against the Pipers earlier in the week. The guard out of the City of London Academy lit up the scoreboard with 16 points on 7-13 shooting and comes into tonight's matchup looking to capitalize on her stellar play. Freshman guard Jocelyn Talso has already made a name for herself in the young season. Talso recorded a well-rounded stat line as she dropped 7 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and even managed 2 steals for the Rams in their last game. The two new faces to the Rams this season both come into the night looking to repeat their impactful performances.
