MINNEAPOLIS, -- The North Central University (NCU) men's basketball program is set kickstart their season in a home-opener affair against the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors on Friday night. In a matchup that has never been seen between the two schools, there are a lot of questions to be answered in this marquee matchup. First-season Head Coach Dan DeWitt will be in search of his first victory as a Ram.
The Rams come into the year with a lot of new faces, highlighted by freshmen, Germaine Caldwell and Seth Fuqua. The two youngsters will look to make an immediate impact in the backcourt for the Rams apart of their first season of collegiate basketball. Highlighting the returners for the Rams this season is Micah Filer, who had an exceptional season last year in his freshman campaign that ended with a nod to the All-UMAC Honorable Mention team. A healthy balance of returners and newcomers has set the storyline for an exciting 2019-20 NCU men's basketball season.
