The North Central University (NCU) men's basketball team comes into Saturday afternoon's matchup looking to rebound from their first
UMAC game of the season earlier this week. The Rams look forward to competing back on their home floor as they are set to host the University of Wisconsin, Superior (UWS) Yellowjackets in an early tip-off at 3:00p.m. Dating back to the Rams' final matchup against the Yellowjackets last season, the Rams found tremendous success on the offensive side of the court. The Blue and Gold shot an efficient 58% from the field to best Superior's 39%.
In the Rams' last home matchup against UWS,
Micah Filer posted an impressive well-rounded stat line. The sophomore guard managed 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals and led the Rams to their biggest upset of the year. Senior guard
Riley Loukinen chipped in 8 points and 4 rebounds during the contest and will strive to capitalize on his previous performance this time around. The dynamic backcourt duo heads into the marquee conference matchup looking to continue their impressive play against a talented Superior squad.
