North Central University Athletics

In their final home game of the year 2019, the North Central University (NCU) men's basketball team is ready to host UMAC foe, Martin Luther College. In the two conference matchups that the schools saw one another in last season, the Knights managed to top the Rams in two exceptionally close contests. The Rams come into the game looking to grab their first UMAC win of the season after suffering a loss this past weekend against the University of Wisconsin, Superior Yellowjackets.

Justin Castro has yet to face MLC in his collegiate career, but will lead the Rams' backcourt in creating opportunities for his teammates against a lengthy MLC squad. Sophomore guard Micah Filer found tremendous success against the Knights last season. Filer combined for a total of 46 points in the two contests, and will be in search of a repeat offensive performance. A win in this pivotal conference matchup would give the Rams the ability to gather great momentum as they head down the stretch of their UMAC schedule.
