North Central University Athletics

  The North Central University (NCU) women's basketball program is set to host the Knights of Martin Luther College (MLC) in their final home game of the 2019 year on Wednesday night. Dating back to the Rams' two conference matchups against the Knights last season, NCU paved the way to victory against MLC in dominating fashion 60-48 and 80-46. The Rams come into the matchup looking to rebound after dropping their last UMAC contest this past weekend against the University of Wisconsin, Superior Yellowjackets.

Emily DiGiorgio has been a dominating force against the Knights in her basketball career. In the Rams' matchup with the Knights last season, the junior center out of Ironwood, Mich. dropped 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. DiGiorgio currently ranks 5th in the UMAC in rebounds per game with 7.3, and will look to continue her fierce presence in the paint against the Knights this season.
