MINNEAPOLIS, -- The North Central University Rams volleyball team plays host Calvary University Warriors for their home opener of the 2019 season. The last matchup between the Rams and Warriors from September 7, 2018 saw Calvary taking the match 3 sets to 1. The Rams hit .840 in its game against Calvary and had three players with six-or-more kills.

Sophomore Jaselyn Anderson led the charge with 12 kills while Emily DiGiorgio added 10, and Rachel Beckman notched 6. Calvary owns the lone victory in the series between the two squads as the Rams look to even the series at 1-1. Calvary is a young team and hoping that their freshmen can make an impact this season. In 2018, Calvary ended with a 6-14 record. Saturday's highly anticipated contest starts at 11:00 a.m. in the Clark-Danielson Gymnasium.
