MINNEAPOLIS, -- North Central University Rams Women's Soccer will kick off their home season opener against the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles. The Rams have faced off against the Eagles 16 times in their history between one another and remain undefeated going into the contest. These teams last met September 9, 2017, where the Rams slid past the Eagles by a tight score of 1-0. The Rams will be fighting this time around to keep their undefeated streak going against the Eagles.
Emma Brekhus and Cheyenne Brown will be leading the program this year and finding a way to put points on the board early on in the contest. Brown and Brekhus each put up three goals in the 2018 season, and will head into the season opener looking to continue making their strong impact on the Rams offense. The Rams on the defensive side is highlighted by veteran Mikel Vacek, who will be ready to lead a young defensive unit. This season opener will kick off Saturday, August 31st, at 3:15p.m. at Elliot Park Field.
