ROCKFORD, Ill. – After a recently stolen win, the North Central University (NCU) women's volleyball team will be taking on the Maranatha Baptist University Sabercats in their second match of the day. These two schools have played each other seven times in their history, and the Rams are heading into the matchup in search of their first win agains the Sabercats. NCU and MBU last saw each other September 4, 2015, and the Rams are prepared to get their first victory against the Sabercats.
Veteran, Rachel Beckman, has been impressive all year so far. Going into this game, she has tallied a total of 166 assists. She has been setting up her teammates with success on the outside parts of the net. Hannah Fischer has also been playing great this season as she has generated 106 digs on the year thus far. The Sabercats are 3-2 and trying to stay above .500 in these next matchups. First service is set for 12:00p.m. on Saturday, September 14.
