DULUTH, Minn. – North Central University (NCU) women's soccer will be visiting the College of St. Scholastica Saints this Friday a part of their first conference match of the season. Both of these teams have played each other on multiple occasions, and the series is in favor of the Saints. The last matchup occurred in October 24, 2018 where the Rams were unable to come out on top. The Rams are yearning for their first victory and are prepared to battle against a tough Saints soccer team.
Captain Mikel Vacek has been fighting all season and is coming into the game with the most shots on goal for the Rams. She has had many great opportunities and will be in search of her first goal of the season. Ellie Tieszen has been working in goal and has saved 40 shots so far on the season. The Saints are currently 0-5 on the season and seeking their first win of the year. The Saints senior, Janelle Rouillard, led the Saints last game against the Rams with three goals.
