ASHLAND, Wis. – In the second game of this double header, the North Central University (NCU) women's volleyball is set to face the Finlandia University Lions. The Rams current hold the upperhand in this series 6-3. The Rams and Lions last battled on October 16, 2018 where the Rams managed to steal a set in a 3-1 loss. The Rams are looking to extend their winning streak in this series versus the Lions.
Emily DiGiorgio was a big force in last match against the Lions. DiGiorgio ended up with nine kills, and is coming into the match with a total of 110 kills on the season thus far. On the defensive side, Hannah Fischer was all over and tallied ten digs. Fischer is coming into this game with an impressive 106 digs and has been a foundational piece to the Rams' defensive presence. The Lions sit at an 0-6 and will be looking to grab their first win. This marquee matchup starts at 5:30p.m. on September 18.
