ASHLAND, Wis. -- North Central University (NCU) women's volleyball is set to play against the Northland College Lumberjills. The record in this Upper Midwest Athletic Conference series is 12-7 in favor of the Lumberjills. Their last matchup was on October 16, 2018 where the Rams lost the match 3-1. NCU is anticipating a win to get back above .500.
In the last matchup between these two teams, Hannah Fischer and Emily DiGiorgio both had a pair of five kills. Rachel Beckman was a huge help to their success as she tallied 13 assists, and is coming into this matchup with a total of 166 assists. Northland is currently 4-8 and looking to extend it to five. Lumberjill, Nora Hagen, had eight kills in the last matchup against the Rams and will seek to give a repeat performance. This appealing UMAC matchup is set to start at 3:30p.m. on September 18.
