MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- After an impressive win on Wednesday evening against the Finlandia University Lions, the North Central University (NCU) women's volleyball team currently stands at a respectable 6-7 record. The Rams and are set to take on the Crown College Storm in a non-conference UMAC matchup. These two foes are no stranger to one another, as they have faced off a total of 18 times in their history. The last time these two schools clashed dates back to October 13, 2018 of last season, where the Storm managed to take the match in a tremendously competitive 3 sets.

Rachel Beckman was phenomenal in the matchup from last season. She set 16 assists along the net to guide the Rams' outside hitters in their offense attack.  She is the leader for the Rams in assists season, with a total of 178 coming into the match. Hannah Fischer led the Rams on the defensive front and managed 12 digs from this matchup last season. Fischer is coming into tonight looking to build on her impressive amount of 127 digs on the season thus far. As of Thursday, the Storm currently sit at a 2-7 overall record. They are set to face the Hamline University Pipers on Friday night prior to making the trip to Minneapolis this coming Saturday. The Storm will be looking to sophomore setter Elizabeth Clark to lead their offensive presence, as she managed 24 assists against the Rams in their last outing.
