MINNEAPOLIS, -- After opening the 2019 season with a victory over the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles, North Central University Men's Soccer is set to host the Bethany University Royals. This is a highly anticipated game, as the Rams are coming in from a hot start to the season this past Saturday. Both teams are currently hold 1-0 records, and each will be looking to give the other their first loss of the season. The last time these two teams met was on October 15, 2015 and the game did not favor the Rams. Out of the two times they have battled, the Rams have not came away with a victory. Henry Puchuela is coming off an extremely hot start to the season, where he netted 2 goals placed beautifully in the back of the net. He had help from the likes of Ben Conrad, who had an impressive start as well. Conrad managed to dish off multiple assists, and even fire in a goal of his own. Weston Buckley also helped the Rams put a point on the board from Saturday, and will be looking to add to his point total. The Rams are looking to keep their strong defense in this next game and create havic for the Royals on the defensive side of the field. Last game, Jerad Buse held the Eagles to zero goals, and will fight to do the same to the Royals. Bethel just came off a strong game against the University of Northwestern, St. Paul Eagles, and will be searching for win number two of their season. The teams are set to meet on the pitch this Tuesday, September 3 at Elliot Park Field for the Rams' second home game of the young season.
