MINNEAPOLIS, -- Starting the season off with a slam and going undefeated in the triangular series, the North Central Women's Volleyball is set host the Macalester College Scots. In their history between the two teams, the Scots are currently on top in this series, 8- 0. The last time this two teams saw each other was September 5, 2018, where the Scots managed to pull off the victory. With such a strong performance in the season opener, the Rams are ready for a challenge and are looking to bring home their first win against the Scots.
Ready for battle after their two wins, the Rams will be led in this upcoming match by junior, Emily DiGiorgio. With 18 kills the last time the Rams faced the Scots, DiGiorgio will look to spark the Rams' offense yet again. Freshman, Cydonia Rue, had an impressive two games as she showed what she is capable of proving for the Rams this year, and will generate some outside hitting leverage, opposite of DiGiorgio in this one. With such a great performance by both players this past Saturday, the Rams are motivated to keep it going in their upcoming game. The Scots are currently 0-4 on the season and will be making the trip to Minneapolis in search of their first win of the 2019 season. First service for this non-conference matchup is set for Tuesday, September 3 at 7:00pm in the Clark-Danielson Gymnasium.
