MINNEAPOLIS, -- North Central University (NCU) women's soccer is set to host the Crown College Storm in a non-UMAC matchup on Elliot Park Field. The Rams and the Storm have battled on the pitch a myriad of times, and the Rams currently are on top of this competitive series, 9-7. They last saw one another last season on October 13, 2018, where the Rams fired on all cylinders en route to an 8-3 victory.

Freshman, Kara Lewis, has made her way onto the collegiate scene by providing the Rams with a potent great offensive threat. Lewishas been a great addition to the Rams' roster this season.  Rachel Cribb has also been crucial to the Rams' soccer squad. Her defensive presence has stabilized opposing teams' offensive attacks. The Rams are looking forward to playing on their own turf, and will be working to extend their series wins against the Storm. Crown College currently stands at an overall record of 2-4 heading into the contest. Hailey Carter managed to put a goal in the back of the net for the Storm last season and will be in search of repeating that in this one. Overall, this marquee matchup is going to provide NCU with a great taste of conference play before heading further into their 2019 campaign.
