MINNEAPOLIS, -- The North Central University (NCU) men's soccer team is set to host the Finlandia University Lions on Elliot Park Field. In their respective history, the two schools have met three different times, with the Rams holding the upper-hand 2-1. The Rams and the Lions last battled on the pitch on September 16, 2016 where the Rams took the victory in a defensive battle 1-0.
Freshman, Lars Brekhus, has made his way onto the collegiate scene by providing all-around stability for the Rams. Brekhus has been a dominate force on the defensive end, and will look to build on his freshman campaign. Another youngster that has been a great addition to NCU is Giovani Benitez , who will continue making his impact as well for the Rams on the pitch. The Lions currently sit at a record of 2-5-1, and will be looking to Akwasi Kwarteng to make an impact early in this one.
