MINNEAPOLIS, -- After an impressive win against Crown College last weekend, North Central University (NCU) women's volleyball is set to clash on Homecoming Day 2019 with the Trinity Bible College (TBC) Lions in their last non-UMAC matchup of the season. The Rams and Lions are no stranger to one another on the volleyball court. NCU and TBC have faced off a total of 14 times throughout their history together, and the Rams currently lead the series 11-3.  Dating back to earlier this season on August 31, the Rams found no toruble to sweeping the Lions 3 sets to 0.

Libero, Hallie Fuglestad, found massive success in the Rams' last matchup again the Lions earlier this season. Fuglestad recorded 20 digs in only 3 sets played to lead NCU's stellar defense. Junior, Emily DiGiorgio, also stuffed the stat sheet. DiGiorgio clipped 11 kills to lead the Rams' offensive attack. Freshman, Cydonia Rue also managed to chip in 7 kills of her own, and will be looking to pose as another offensive threat along the outside for the Rams. The Lions currently sit at a 2-7 record as of Thursday (9/26), whereas the Rams will look to push threshold of their current 7-7 record and move above .500.
