North Central University (NCU) men's hoops is back in action on Wednesday evening as they are set to host the Northland College (NC) Lumberjacks in another pivotal
UMAC showdown. Dating back to last season, the Lumberjacks managed to slip past the Rams in two exceptionally close contests, 66-74 and 71-75.Â
Micah Filer led the way for the Rams in both matchups by combining for a total of 45 points, fueled by seven three pointers.
Jalen Dunlap has become a cornerstone to the Rams' offensive and defensive success as of late. The junior guard has averaged 13 points per game on 14-22 shooting from the field in the last three games, while also coming up with 9 steals during that stretch.Â
Dunlap will look to continue firing on all cylinders and lead NCU to their second conference victory of the season against the Lumberjacks, who currently sit at 1-6 (
UMAC) as well.
