Mary Seegers

Mary Seegers enters her first year as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at North Central University (NCU). Seegers will oversee the strength and conditioning efforts of nearly 225 Rams student-athletes across 14 varsity sports programs.

From 2022-24, Seegers served as the Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant for all athletic teams. During these two years, she successfully curated and implemented performance programs that include strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and mobility for multiple teams. Additionally, Mary had oversight of the scheduling and organization of the weight room activities, and worked closely with the head coaches and athletic training staff to provide proper instruction. Seegers graduated from NCU with a Master’s in Strategic Leadership and Business Administration in May 2024.

Prior to coaching the Rams in the weight room, Seegers came to North Central to play her COVID season of basketball while working towards a Masters in Strategic Leadership and Business Administration. In her final season, Seegers was a part of the first-ever trip to the NCAA National Tournament in the history of the Women’s Basketball program at NCU. Before becoming a Ram, Seegers attended Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMUMN) where she was a member of the women’s basketball team for four seasons. She graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a degree in Exercise Science in 2021.

Mary is originally from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, just outside of Milwaukee and currently lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Konrad. Her passion for strength and conditioning started when she was positively impacted by both her high school and college strength and conditioning coaches.
