Mike Knipe

Mike Knipe has served at North Central University in an assistant coaching role for men's basketball program since the 2017-18 season. In addition to his men's basketball assistant coaching position, Knipe works and coaches in a variety of other realms throughout the athletic department at NCU. Since 2019, Knipe has also served NCU as the director of athletic communications and head coach of the track and field/cross country teams.

Before Knipe starting his well-versed coaching career at NCU, he served as a coach in football, men's basketball, and women's basketball in Black River Falls, WI.  Prior to his professional coaching career, Knipe played basketball for the Lions at Trinity Bible College.

From an academic standpoint, Knipe received a bachelor of science in sports management degree from NCU in May of 2019. Outside of the multiple roles he fulfills in the athletics department at NCU, Knipe serves in the United States Army Reserve.

Knipe currently lives in Minnesota with his wife Mallory and son Kyrie. Together, they enjoy staying active in the local community and their church. In his spare time, Coach Knipe loves to play golf, read, and travel.
