Tyler Borkadi

Tyler Borkadi joined the NCU men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach just before the 2018 season.

Borkadi grew up playing soccer at Bayside SC in his hometown of Escanaba, MI. He then went on and played his collegiate career at Finlandia University. While at Finlandia, he was a four year varsity player, Lion award recipient, ACAA second team selection, ACAA offensive player of the week and AD3I conference champion. Borkadi also currently holds the record for most games played in school history. This past summer, Borkadi was able to continue his playing career in the United Premier Soccer League.

Tyler has been coaching at Bayside SC for the past five years for U8-U15 youth teams as well as the high school team. In 2017, he received the Bayside SC coach of the year award. In 2018, he was the student assistant coach at his alma mater.

At Finlandia, he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. He graduated in May 2019.

Tyler is looking forward to moving to the Twin Cities and all that they have to offer. He enjoys playing hockey, running, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. Borkadi says he is “very excited to have the opportunity to work with our NCU coaching staff and players in building a competitive and family oriented culture”.
