Christopher “Chris” Garza begins his first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the North Central University softball program in 2025, bringing energy, leadership, and a strong understanding of the Rams’ culture to the staff. A recent NCU graduate, Garza transitions into coaching after a four-year career as a dependable infielder and respected team leader.
As a student-athlete, Garza appeared in over 60 games, earning a reputation for his work ethic, discipline, and mentorship of younger teammates. He was a regular on the Rams Honor Roll and consistently demonstrated a high baseball IQ on the field.
Garza earned his B.S. in Sports Management from North Central in 2025 and is pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership. In his new role, he assists with practice planning, player development, and game-day operations.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, and a graduate of St. Anthony Catholic High School, Garza brings a blend of playing experience, academic focus, and character to the program, with aspirations of continuing his coaching career at the collegiate level.
