Coming out hot as soon as the first whistle blew was senior, Abby Schwinden, who provided the biggest offensive spark for the Rams. Schwinden had a career day, setting the single-game goals record with six goals on Saturday afternoon, breaking the previous record of 5 set by Payton Swoboda earlier this season. In the first half Abby Schwinden netted 3 goals, with the respective assists going to Emma Brekhus (20th minute), Cheyenne Brown (27th minute), and Anna Hartwig (32nd minute). The continued strong effort on offense sent the Rams into halftime with a commanding lead. The scoring continued for the Rams in the final 45 minutes as Schwinden continued her dominant performance matching her first half with another 3 goals. Schwinden's second half goals were highlighted by one in which she sent a missile from 20 yards out into the back of the net. The other goals were both on assists from Payton Swoboda. Also coming up with goals later in the second period were, Payton Swoboda and Anna Hartwig, who provided support and help close out the game. With a continued offensive presence throughout the entire game, the Rams took the win in commanding fashion and left little to no room for the Storm to get within reaching distance, as they finished the contest with an 8-3 victory.
