ANKENY, Iowa - North Central University went on the road on Friday to take on the Pilots of Providence-Manitoba in a neutral site, nonconference, contest, that proved to be a tough one as the Rams were able to score in the first minute of overtime to come away with a 1-0 win.

- The Rams found themselves in a defensive battle on Friday evening. Neither team was able to come up with many opportunities in the first period, finding themselves deadlocked at 0-0 heading into halftime. The final forty-five minutes were much of the same as neither team could turn the corner. The Rams had a few shot opportunities back to back in the 68th and 69th minute, but were unable to come away with points. The Pilots had an opportunity late in the contest to take a lead, but also squandered their opportunity. The battle continued as the two were force into an overtime period, but the Rams were able to finally come away with the goal and the win when junior, Josué Boutouli, wasable to send a shot to the back of the net for a 1-0 victory.
