MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Rams volleyball was back in action this afternoon against a tough opponent in UM-Morris. The Rams were never able to establish a rhythm as they would fall in three straight sets. With the loss, the Rams fall to 6-15 on the season.
Match Vitals:
- The Rams were outhit by UM-Morris (17 kills, .013 hitting percentage for NCU vs 46 kills, .409 hitting percentage for UM-Morris).
- The Rams showed an improvement from previous matches by only committing 16 errors on the match.
Match Recap:
- The first set of the day would prove to be the only time that the Rams would hold a lead during the match. The Rams started off hot with a 3-0 start before UM-Morris was able to settle in. As Morris found their groove, the Rams found it extremely difficult to get anything going. After a first set defeat, 14-25, the Rams encountered a Morris team that was locked in for the second set, winning 25-9. During the final set of the afternoon, NCU battled but was unable to prevail as they fell 17-25.

The Rams will look to play spoiler at home on Wednesday night versus Bethany Lutheran. Bethany Lutheran is currently battling for a playoff spot as they sit 6th in the UMAC. Rams fans are encouraged to come out and support the team during Homecoming Week!
