- Rams struggled offensively early in the ball game. NCU finally got their first shot to drop with 15 minutes left to play in the first half, facing a 9-0 deficit. The Rams rattled off a 9-3 run to bring cut the lead to 3. The Knights responded with a 12-3 run to bring their lead to 24-12 with 3 minutes remaining in the first half. The methodical offense remained throughout the rest of the half for a halftime score of 28-21. The Knights proved to have the upper hand as they extended their lead to 40-28, forcing NCU to call a timeout with 15:34 remaining in the second half. NCU got a spark when Freshman Micah Filer hit two quick shots, but Carleton stayed steady as they extended their lead to 49-32 with 9:00 remaining in the second half. The Knights offense remained solid as they gave Rams all they could handle in a 66-48 victory. The Knights were led by Matthew Stritzel with 18 points.
