- NCU found themselves trailing 12-11 at the end of the 1st quarter. Despite not hitting a three point shot in the first quarter, the Rams bounced back to knock down 4 of 6 from beyond the arc to take a 37-21 lead at halftime. The Rams held the the lead throughout the rest of the game to take the first contest of the year 77-56. While the Warriors out scored the Rams 22 to 15 in the paint, the Rams outscored the Warriors 13 to 8 in bench points. The Rams out shot the Warriors from beyond the arc. The Rams as a team shot 37 percent (11-for-29) while the Warriors shot 21 percent (5-for-23). Leading the attack for North Central was sophomore Allison Bulthuis who scored a game high 18 points for the Rams. Bulthuis was perfect from the free throw line and shot 40 percent (4-for-10) from beyond the arc. Senior Haleigh Filer assisted the scoring attack by adding 16 points and also shoot a perfect 100 percent (2-for-2) from the free throw line. The Rams as a unit shot 80 percent (16-for-20) from the free throw line for the game. The Warriors were led by freshman Anna Holloway with 17 points.
