MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The North Central University (NCU) men's basketball team played host to the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles this afternoon at Clark-Danielson Gymnasium. NCU saw a balanced scoring attack with freshman
Micah Filer leading the way with 21 points. The Rams continued their streak of hot shooting as they took down the Eagles in non-conference action 75-56.

- The Rams and the Eagles were back and forth for much of the opening minutes in the first half. The Rams went on a 6-0 run with all 6 points coming from freshman Micah Filer The Eagles continued to keep it close with 5 straight points of their own to bring the game to 21-15. A three-point bucket by senior Jared High, along with back to back three point buckets by junior Riley Loukinen, forced a Faith timeout with 6:15 left in the half with the Rams leading 30-19. The Rams finished the first half shooting 43 percent (6-for-14) from beyond the arc. NCU led Faith 46-25 heading into halftime. The Rams continued to stay hot from three-point land as Riley Loukinen and Micah Filer hit back to back three point shots for the Rams, forcing a timeout by the Eagles. With 15:20 left in the second half the Rams led the Eagles 55-29. The Eagles continued to fight with back to back threes of their own but it wasn't enough to stop the red-hot Rams as NCU defeated Faith by a score of 75-56. The Rams were led by freshman Micah Filer who had 21 points for the Rams. The Eagles got 12 points from Micah Stinson.
