Game Recap
The Cougars were aggressive right out of the gate, immediately showing their sense of urgency. The Rams found themselves in an early hole in the blink of an eye as the Cougars held a 3-0 lead after just the seventh minute of the contest. The Rams were quick to turn up the defensive pressure, looking to find an answer for the Cougar attack, but Morris continued to keep their foot on the gas. The Cougars added two more goals before the end of the first period to take a 5-0 lead into the break. Although trailing for much of the contest, the Rams kept fighting, showing effort on all areas of the pitch. NCU showed some second half adjustments that helped keep the Cougar offense quiet for a majority of the second half. However, it was not enough to spark a comeback as the Rams fell 6-0 to the Cougars in the final home game of the season.
