Game Recap

• The Rams broke the 0-0 tie with the Eagles in the 12th minute as newcomer, Weston Buckley, connected on a beautiful dump off from teammate Benjamin Conrad that found the back of the net. North Central continued to suffocate the Eagles in half one, consistently bringing the ball into scoring zones. The Rams broke through for goal number two in the 38th minute to push their lead to 2-0, which sent North Central to the break with a comfortable lead. The Rams kept their foot on the gas in the second half, continuing to limit the Eagle's offensive attempts. North Central scored two more goals in a 5 minute span highlighted by a second goal for Puchuela that capped off an impressive afternoon by the senior. The Rams kept the pressure on in the final minutes of the contest as they cruised to a momentum building home opening victory.
