MINNEAPOLIS -- North Central University (NCU) hosted Crown College in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon on Elliot Park Field. The Rams came out of the gate aggressive, sending various shot opportunities towards the net in just the first few minutes. Unfortunately, they were unable to find the back of the net with those scoring chances, but they were successful in slowing down the Storm as neither team made movement on the scoreboard in the first period. It was Crown who struck first in the final 45 minutes taking the lead and eventually finding their offensive stride as their three goals in the second period gave them the 3-0 victor over the Rams.

Game Recap
In their first home match since the home opener, th Rams were opened the contest with some fire on the offensive side of the pitch. NCU recorded 6 of their 19 shots within the first 10 minutes, but failed to find the back of the net on those opportunities. NCU forced Crown back on their heals for much of the first half, but the two battled it out in a back and forth of fair for most of the contest. With neither team finding much separation, both teams headed to the break knotted at 0-0. After a scoreless first half, Crown sparked some offensive momentum on their side of the field, finding the first goal of the game in the 48th minute. NCU continued to find opportunities, but continued to come up just short as the Crown keeper made save after save late in the half. While NCU was still searching for the back of the net, Crown opened up the match with two more late goals as they pulled away for the 3-0 victory.
