Women's basketball opens season 4-0 for the first time in program history

MINNEAPOLIS, -- North Central University (NCU) women's basketball was on the road for tonight's match up with Oak Hill Christian College (OHCC) Wolfpack tonight in Bemidji, MN. Coming off of a 3-0 start, the Rams looked to extend their streak to 4-0, and they managed to do just that. In a dominant performance, NCU took home the win in a firework display of offensive scoring by a final score of 107-50.

Game Recap

The freshmen and bench for North Central were the highlights of the game. The bench managed to contribute 58 points while the Rams' freshmen combined for 42. Jocelyn Talso (Blaine, MN, Spring Lake Park High School) led the game with 15 points 4 assists. Emily DiGiorgio (Ironwood, MI, Luther L. Wright High School) had another double-double with 10 pints and 10 rebounds. Caitlin Chavez (Edmond, OK, Edmond North High School) made her way onto the collegiate scene for the first time by putting up 14 and 3 assists. Alice Cato (Fort Worth, TX, Harvest Christian) had her best game of the season thus far by recording 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. With nearly the entire roster finding their way into the stat books, it was an all-around night for NCU women's basketball.
