Superior, WI. -- The North Central University (NCU) volleyball team took the short trip from Ashland to Superior on Saturday to take on the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) in the
Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) matchup. The Rams had good energy throughout the match, but ultimately fell to the Yellowjackets in three sets (25-12, 25-14, 25-15).

NCU came out of the locker room ready to play, after two wins in the Northland triangular on Friday night. Coming off a strong performance yesterday evening,
Makayla Krohnberg (Blaine, MN, Blaine High School) continued her success with six kills and six digs. Also continuing her consistent play was
Hailey Lerfald (Wanamingo, MN, Kenyon-Wanamingo High School) with four kills and two blocks.
Alexandria Taylor (Milwaukee, WI, Milwaukee Lutheran High School) and
Hannah Fischer (Kenyon, MN, Kenyon Wanamingo High School) scrambled in the back line in order to get the ball up to
Grace Brigson (West Salem, WI, West Salem High School) who had 16 well placed sets to the front line. NCU left it all on the court and are eager for the rematch later this season.

The Rams have a week until they travel to the University of Minnesota Morris for another
