Game Recap
After their first win of the season this past Tuesday, the Rams brought some momentum into the game against the Knights. NCU knew the game was going to be a tough one in general as they only had nine players to play because of injuries. Each Ram player showed tremendous mental toughness running up and down the field for 90 minutes in 80 degree heat.
Mia Wajda (Gejiu, China, Centennial High School) gave the Rams lots of energy in the second half with multiple tackles outside.
Kara Lewis (Mandeville, LA, Northlake Christian School) and H
Hannah Grubbs (Mantua, OH, Newbury High School) both had three shots driving NCU's offense. Goalkeeper
Arien Fritts (Ham Lake, MN, Fritts Homeschool Academy) had 17 saves on the game, helping to keep the Rams in the game. The Knights ultimately won 0-14 despite the Rams great effort.
