Roseville, MN -- North Central University's (NCU) Baseball team finished up their three-game series against UW-Superior (Yellow Jackets). The Rams had some key struggles in the field leading to multiple runs. The bats wouldn't be able to keep up as Superior would run away with the game. 
 

Teagan Burch walked out to the mound and surrendered two runs, but the Rams played solid defense. In the bottom of the inning, Mike Maanum led off with a single and Kyle Huerth followed it up with one of his own, bringing runners to first and second. After a ground ball that led to a double play, Burch would bring in Maanum with an error from the shortstop. North Central would fail to score another run in the game. The Yellow Jackets would unload the bats and have multiple innings scoring more than one run. North Central University would lose the game 11-1.

•  Chris Garza (San Antonio, TX) went 1-2 with a sacrifice bunt also.

Looking Ahead:

North Central Baseball will travel back to Reynolds Field tomorrow as the away team against the University of Northwestern Eagles. The first pitch is at 6 pm.
