Minneapolis, MN -- North Central University Women's Basketball Head Coach,
Leah Szabla, has announced her resignation from NCU. Szabla will be wrapping up her current duties and embark on a new coaching opportunity in the near future.
Szabla finished with a 34-27 overall record in her two seasons as head coach at North Central. "My decision to leave North Central was a very difficult decision. NCU is a special place, and the relationships I've made mean the world to me, " said Coach Szabla. "I am full of gratitude for the opportunity I had to lead this program, and especially honored to have coached so many incredible young women. I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished on and off the court these last few seasons. I look forward to following along and cheering on NCU athletics."
North Central University Athletics will begin a search for its next women's basketball head coach immediately.
