PEBBLE CREEK GOLF CLUB - North Central golf competed in the UMAC Conference Preview Monday at Pebble Creek GC, with four Rams taking on the par-72 layout in the one-round event.
Joe Stanton paced North Central with a 4-over 79, good for a share of 21st place after the first round, well ahead of the 55-golfer field's average score of 82.33. He posted a 1-over 37 on the front nine before a tougher back nine. 
Ashton Stansfield carded an 82 (+10) to sit tied for 30th, while Sterling Krick shot an 87 (+15) for a share of 44th. Jackson Springer rounded out the Rams' group with an 88 (+16), tied for 46th.

North Central closed out the UMAC Conference Preview with Stanton's round giving the Rams a strong anchor at the top of their lineup against a 55-golfer field.
