SUPERIOR, WISCONSIN. -- The North Central University (NCU) Men's Golf team completed two rounds at the 8th Annual Twin Ports Collegiate on September 18-19 at Nemadji Golf Course.
Jackson Springer turned in the Rams' best round of the tournament on Friday, carding a two-over 74. Springer played the
back nine at even par with birdies on holes 10 and 18 and finished the opening round tied for 34th. Joe Stanton followed with a 76 (+4), while Sterling Krick shot an 83 (+11) and Ashton Stansfield finished with a 95 (+23).
Stansfield responded with North Central's best score in Saturday's second round, improving by 17 strokes to fire a 78 (+6). He recorded birdies on holes eight and 18 as part of the strong bounce-back performance.
Stanton added an 80 (+8) in Round Two to finish the tournament at 156 (+12). Krick improved by two strokes with an 81 (+9), giving him a two-round total of 164 (+20). Springer closed with an 84 (+12) to finish at 158 (+14).
