WACONIA, MINNESOTA - The North Central University (NCU) Men's Golf team put together a strong performance at the Polar Invite on Tuesday, September 22, finishing second as a team at Island View Golf Club. The Rams combined for a 316 (+28), finishing ahead of Minnesota Morris and host Crown College in the four-team field.
Junior Joe Stanton highlighted the day for North Central, firing a 75 (+3) to finish tied for first place and earn co-medalist honors. Stanton shared the top spot with Alexandria Technical & Community College's Aidan Johnson and finished one stroke ahead of the rest of the 29-golfer field. 
Jackson Springer also turned in a strong round for the Rams, shooting a 78 (+6) to finish eighth overall. Ashton Stansfield followed just one stroke behind with a 79 (+7), earning a tie for ninth place and giving NCU three golfers inside the top 10. Sterling Krick rounded out the Rams' lineup with an 84 (+12) to tie for 19th.

NORTH CENTRAL RESULTS

North Central finished six strokes behind Alexandria T&C College's winning score of 310 while defeating Minnesota Morris by four strokes and Crown by eight.

The Rams will travel back to Island View Golf Club next week as Crown College hosts another event. That will be next Tuesday, September 29th.
