LAKEVILLE, Minn - The North Central University men's tennis team dropped a hard fought UMAC matchup to Minnesota-Morris on Thursday night. The Rams picked up three wins but fell to the Cougars 6-3 overall.
NCU was paced by
Noah Ramsby as he earned a win in his singles matchup against Cole Peters in the second singles spot.
Danny Williams picked up a win playing in the fifth singles spot as he defeated Jason Vang in straight sets. The Rams picked up their third win in the third doubles matchup as Rodrigo de Mendoza and
Caleb Van Natta defeated Jason Vang and Kyler Cooper 8-3.
Judah Smith fought hard in his match as he continues to play steady in the first singles spot for the Rams this season.
Ken Schrock fell in straight sets in the third singles matchup. Rodrigo de Mendoza dropped a tough match in the fourth singles spot as he fell in the tiebreaker 11-9.
Josiah Williams fell in straight sets to Kyler Cooper to round out the singles matchups.
In the doubles portion of this dual NCU sent Josh Ekong and
Micah Peterson out in the first doubles matchup but they were unable to keep pace with Jack Flicker and Cole Peters from Morris.

Danny Williams fell in a tightly contested second doubles matchup by a score of 8-6.
The loss moves the Rams to a 1-4 overall record for the season. Their next matchup will take place on Saturday March 23 at 2:00 p.m. as they will host Bethany Lutheran in another UMAC matchup in Lakeville, MN.
