INDIANOLA, IA - The North Central University men's tennis team was in action on Tuesday as they traveled south to Iowa, to face Simpson College and Grand View University in a pair of non-conference matchups. NCU fell to Grand View University 9-0 before falling to Simpson College 9-0.
In the match against Grand View
Judah Smith played in the no.1 singles matchup while
Micah Peterson played in the no.2 spot losing 1-6, 1-6.
Noah Ramsby played in the no.3 match while
Danny Williams played in the no.4 singles match up.
Ken Schrock and
Josiah Williams rounded out the singles players for NCU as they played in the no.5 and no.6 spots respectively. In the doubles portion of the match the Rams dropped all three. Josh Ekong played along side
Micah Peterson.
Danny Williams and
Ken Schrock paired up in the no.2 doubles matchup.
Noah Ramsby and
Josiah Williams played in the no.3 doubles position for the Rams.
The Rams would later take on Simpson College. NCU would send out a similar lineup with a few adjustments.
Noah Ramsby and
Micah Peterson each played in the no.1 and no.2 positions respectively.
Danny Williams and
Judah Smith played in the no.3 and no.4 positions with
Ken Schrock and
Josiah Williams each playing in the no.5 and no.6 positions. On the doubles side,
Noah Ramsby and
Danny Williams played in the top doubles matchup.
Judah Smith and Josh Ekong played in the second doubles, with
Caleb Van Natta and
Josiah Williams rounding out the doubles matchups for the Rams.
NCU will be back in action on Friday as they will host Saint Scholastica in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchup in Lakeville, Minnesota starting at 4:00 p.m.
