Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TUCSON, Ariz. – North Central University (NCU) was in action this morning for the last time during their trip to Arizona. The Rams battled with an aggressive Cornell Rams program in the first game of their doubleheader. NCU would eventually fall by a score of 30-0. The second game of the slate was much of the same for the Rams as they could not find an answer for Siena Height's offense falling by a score of 24-1
 

GAME ONE RECAP
Cornell jumped on the NCU early in the first game of the doubleheader in the battle of the two Ram's programs. Cornell exploded for 12 first inning runs to put separation between the two ball clubs. NCU struggled to put runners on base, making it difficult to keep pace with the Cornell. The Rams hitters finished the game with just two hits as they would fall by a final score of 30-0. Ali Cornelius (L, 0-4) received the starting nod in the contest allowing 17 earned runs in 5.0 innings pitched, suffering her third loss of the season.

GAME TWO RECAP
Siena Height's bats were too much for the Rams too handle in the second game of the doubleheader. The Saints jumped out to an 6-0 in the first inning, jumping on Ram's starter, Ali Cornelius (L, 0-4). The Rams got one run back in the third inning, but the Saint's offense was just too much to overcome. NCU would eventually fall by a score of 24-1. Emma Bushey led all Rams batters with one hit and one run batted in.

Next Up
North Central University will head back home to Minnesota as they prepare to host the NCU Dome Tournament in Plymouth, MN, next Thursday and Friday afternoon.
