LAKEVILLE, Minn - The North Central University men's tennis team continued their 2019 season on Friday as they took on Wisconsin-Superior in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchup. The Yellowjackets defeated the Rams 9-0 on the day as they swept all matches.
Judah Smith played for the Rams in the no.1 position followed by
Micah Peterson in the no.2 position. Smith fell to Josiah Borst 6-0, 6-0 and Peterson fell to Leonardo Paredes 6-0, 6-1.
Noah Ramsby and Kenneth Schrock played in the no.3 and no.4 positions as each fell in straight sets.
Danny Williams and
Caleb Van Natta rounded out the singles positions as Williams fell 6-0, 6-0 and Van Natta fell 6-1, 6-1.
On the doubles side Josh Ekong and
Judah Smith played in the no.1 doubles spot as they fell 8-0.
Noah Ramsby and Kenneth Schrock played in the no.2 doubles position followed by
Micah Peterson and
Danny Williams in the no.3 position. Both teams fell to tough Yellowjacket squads 8-0.
NCU will be back in action Saturday April, 13th at 11:00 a.m. against Crown College in a non-conference matchup.
