Becker, MN -- Thursday, the North Central University (NCU) men's golf team made the trip to Becker, MN, to compete in this year's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Preview Meet. Last season, the Rams came in second place with a team score of 306. Today, the Rams posted a team round of 325 (+37) to finish in 6th place. Sophomore
Greg Salinas shot a career-best round of 73 (+1) to tie for 3rd overall among all UMAC golfers.
North Central was highlighted by
Greg Salinas, who carded a career-low round of 73 (+1) to finish tied for 3rd overall. Junior
Joe Stanton followed as the Rams' second finisher, recording an 82 (+10) to place 29th. Both
Kaden Dunton and
Hector Avila matched scores of 85 (+13), putting them in a tie for 41st. Rounding out the lineup,
Ashton Stansfield battled through to finish with a 99 (+27), placing 61st individually.

North Central travels to Huntley, Illinois, to compete in the NCCAA Regional with rounds on Monday, September 15th, and Tuesday, September 16th. That meet will be hosted by Judson University at the Whisper Creek Golf Course.
