Becker, MN -- North Central University (NCU) women's golf traveled to Becker, MN this morning to compete in this year's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Preview Meet. Last season, the Rams came in seventh place with a team score of 517. Today, the team saw major improvement from last season as all four Rams recorded career-low rounds. The team shot a 461 (+173) to take 6th place overall.
Leading the way was freshman
Hannah Wolf, who carded a 94 (+22) to finish tied for 16th overall. Close behind her was freshman
Brooklyn Barton, who posted a 99 (+27) to secure 20th place. Newcomer
Claire Nelsen followed with a 125 (+53), good for 32nd place, while senior
Erma Ramirez rounded out the group in 36th with a 143 (+71) in what was her first collegiate round. The day marked a milestone outing for the squad as every golfer set a new career-best score, underscoring the progress and promise of the program moving forward.

North Central travels to Huntley, Illinois, to compete in the NCCAA Regional with rounds on Monday, September 15th, and Tuesday, September 16th. That meet will be hosted by Judson University at the Whisper Creek Golf Course.
