Prescott, WI -- The North Central University (NCU) Cross Country teams traveled to Wisconsin today for the River Town Invite hosted by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Today, neither squad was able to post a team score, as only 4 men and 2 women ran today.
The men's team was led by sophomore
Leighton Helander, who clocked a time of 32:13.9 to place 66th overall. Close behind was fellow sophomore
Colton Hagen, finishing 67th at 32:49.7. Senior
Ryan Azeltine turned in a steady performance with a 35:04.3 mark for 77th, followed by junior
David Bjorge, who rounded out the group in 78th place with a time of 35:34.9.
On the women's side, senior
Avah Kraushaar led the way with a time of 29:34.7, placing 54th overall. Junior
Hope Naegelen followed as the team's second finisher, running 33:21.1 to take 61st place.
